VINTAGE DAISIES & GINGHAM

.

I recently shared my daisy craze here with hopes of you joining the bandwagon!  If you haven't already; now's the time. After putting together the roundup, I gave you a sneak peek of my vintage daisy accessories on Instagram and today I'm sharing a look that incorporates those pieces. I went for a 50's retro style with a 2016 modern twist. You know how I get down!

I absolutely love gingham in the summer (and spring, and fall, and winter)! It's such a classic print and I have a few pieces including swimwear and co-ords in gingham. Do you like this classic print as much as I do?

This skirt is vintage Neiman Marcus and was given to me by mom. The yellow top is a new piece I picked up with a bustier effect and frilly straps and I've linked to in the widget above. I wore some grey block heel sandals and let me tell you, they're so comfortable! If you don't own a pair of block heels, you should definitely get a pair now because they're trending and available in many different styles, heights and colors.

My accessories consisted of a bangle stack that mixed vintage with vintage redux. The green striped one is from mom and I adore it. I wore my vintage daisy brooch and necklace, added some yellow enamel daisy earrings I've had for a few years and my black cat-eye sunglasses for a full retro look!

Let's take a minute to discuss this yellow jelly basket! Isn't it adorable? I purchased it from a UK company called SunJellies and they have the sweetest collection of jelly bags and shoes for women & girls. I accessorized my basket with a yellow vintage scarf tied around the handle.

Have a wonderful day!
